Abstract
► Vibrio parahaemolyticus was subjected to various sublethal stresses. ► Sublethal stress enhanced the resistance of V. parahaemolyticus to disinfectants. ► Susceptibility of test organisms to disinfectant varied with sublethal stresses. ► V. parahaemolyticus was more susceptible to disinfectant at 40 °C than at 25 °C.
