Abstract
⺠41 Raw milk cheeses made in the U.S. were analyzed for foodborne pathogens. ⺠Three samples contained Staphylococcus aureus; all other pathogens were negative. ⺠Current regulations for producing safe raw milk cheese appear to be adequate.
