Abstract
► A receptor-binding capture and magnetic sequestration method (RBSMS) was developed. ► The RBSMS method was used to concentrate human norovirus in food samples. ► Viral recovery by RBSMS was significantly better than PEG precipitation methods. ► RBSMS method takes significantly less time than PEG methods.
