Abstract
⺠Enterococcus mundtii controlled the growth of Listeria monocytogenes in broth culture. ⺠Efficacy depended on the initial concentrations. ⺠The cell-free supernatant also controlled growth of L. monocytogenes. ⺠E. mundtii concentrations need to be high to maintain control of L. monocytogenes. ⺠Control was also shown on cold smoked salmon.
