Abstract
⺠Bacillus cereus spores and vegetative cells adhere rapidly to green-leafy vegetables. ⺠Attachment strength and biofilm forming ability increase over time. ⺠Produce surface properties affect the attachment strength and biofilm development. ⺠The environmental strains are more helpful to understand biofilm formation. ⺠Hygienic practices must be in place to assure the safety of green-leafy vegetables.
