Abstract
⺠An atmospheric gas plasma was used to decontaminate chicken muscle and chicken skin. ⺠3 log reductions in L. innocua were achieved for muscle after 4 min treatment. ⺠1 log reduction L. innocua was achieved for skin after 8 min treatment. ⺠Atmospheric gas plasmas have potential for commercial meat decontamination.
