Abstract
⺠All isolates were more sensitive to the exposure to acidic than to osmotic sub-lethal conditions. ⺠All isolates were inhibited in the presence of bile salts. ⺠Neither osmotic nor acidic sub-lethal stresses conferred resistance to simulated GI tract conditions.
