Abstract
⺠Tyramine production is a species-level trait of Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus durans. ⺠The production of putrescine from agmatine is a species-level trait of E. faecalis. ⺠The production of putrescine from agmatine is a strain-level trait of E. faecium.
