Abstract
►Pressures of ≥ 400 MPa efficiently reduce the titer of infectious HAdV-2. ►Reductions of genome counts do not coincide with reductions of virus infectivity. ►Composition of the matrix affect HAdV-2 inactivation with HHP. ►Higher reduction of HAdV-2 is provided when virus treated in bottled mineral water.
