Abstract
► This work demonstrated genetic variability among the V. parahaemolyticus isolates. ► UPGMA dendrograms from molecular typing indicated the variance of pathogenicity. ► The gyrB gene was appropriate for the polymorphic analysis of V. parahaemolyticus. ► ERIC-PCR coupled with the gyrB gene sequencing analysis provided a new strategy.
