Abstract
► Evaluate aerosolized sanitizers as a biofilm control method in the food industry. ► Significant reduction occurred in count of biofilm cells of foodborne pathogens. ► Peracetic acid was more effective than sodium hypochlorite. ► Effects increased with increasing treatment time and concentration of sanitizer.
