Abstract
► Approximately 76% of the flocks were positive for C. jejuni or C. coli. ► No association was found between hygiene and biosecurity measures with campylobacter infection. ► However, odds of infection was five times higher when age at slaughter was >= 45 days compared with < 45 days. ► Also, the odds of infection with campylobacter decreased when level of farmer's education increased. ► Qualitative studies for exploration of behavioral aspects of the management policy may be subjects for future researches.
