Abstract
⺠A PCR assay was developed to authenticate and trace the Yellow Drum species. ⺠Assay sensitivity reached 0.5% (wt) for Yellow Drum meat in mixtures. ⺠This method allowed Yellow Drum to be traced in both fresh and vomited samples.
