Abstract
⺠The ability of different treated waste cider yeast to remove patulin was studied. ⺠The highest patulin removal was obtained by caustic treated waste yeast. ⺠The experimental data conformed well with the Langmuir model and the Freundlich equation. ⺠Ca-alginate gel was a good biosorbent for patulin biosorption. ⺠Immobilizing caustic treated yeast in Ca-alginate increased biosorption capacity.
