Abstract
⺠A rapid method was developed to analyse 16 OC and PY pesticides in pepper. ⺠Pepper contains volatile oil and piperine which interfere with GC analysis. ⺠Pesticides were extracted with acetonitrile and cleanup with silica gel. ⺠Final extract contain reduced matrix interferences and colour intensity. ⺠Modified method showed high sensitivity, good repeatability and recoveries.
