Abstract
⺠Bacteriocin production of L. plantarum KLDS1.0391 in co-culture with certain LAB was increased. ⺠Enhancement of bacteriocin production in co-culture was associated with cell numbers. ⺠Living inducing strains might be necessary for enhancement of bacteriocin production. ⺠plnD and luxS genes of L. plantarum KLDS1.0391 were successfully amplified by PCR. ⺠plNC8HK gene of L. plantarum KLDS1.0391 was successfully amplified by SON-PCR.
