Abstract
⺠Heavy metals content was analysed in the most infant cereals marketed in Spain. ⺠Two organically produced and one conventional cereal exceeded the Pb limit of EC. ⺠Added ingredients mainly cocoa contribute the enrichment of formulation with metals. ⺠A call for a revision of Pb and Cd guideline values for infant cereal is suggested.
