Abstract
⺠We studied Fusarium incidences during storage of maize using different storage structures over a period of 6 months. ⺠Overall Fusarium incidences decreased during the storage period. ⺠Storage of maize in traditional structures for more than 4 months resulted in significant decrease in fumonisin levels. ⺠Ventilated structures were more efficient at reducing fumonisins in stored maize.
