Abstract
⺠This is the first antioxidant study of different parts of Myristica fragrans. ⺠Pericarp is the main source of metal-chelating compounds. ⺠The highest total phenolic content, DPPH and FRAP activities were found in shell. ⺠Aril and seed-kernel have both antibacterial and antioxidant activities. ⺠The results may provide added value to this plants.
