Abstract
⺠Yarrow essential oil (YEO) is an effective antimicrobial against Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria innocua. ⺠YEO significantly inhibits initial cell attachment on abiotic surfaces. ⺠YEO is less effective against preformed listerial biofilms.
