Abstract
► We evaluate the AFM1 distribution and levels in various cheese types sold in Lebanon. ► The incidence of AFM1 in the different cheese samples was variable. ► The highest hazardous revealed ranges was registered in locally processed cheeses. ► Continuous monitoring of AFM1 levels in consumed cheese should be regularly done.
