Abstract
► Cleaning frequency has no significant impact on aerobic mesophilic counts of refrigerators. ► Highest aerobic mesophilic and Bacillus cereus counts when condensation and food traces. ► Serve-over counters and domestic refrigerators had similar levels of aerobic mesophilic counts. ► Serve-over counters were less contaminated by Staphylococus aureus and Bacillus cereus than refrigerators.
