Abstract
► Mycotoxin level in beer samples produced in several European countries was surveyed. ► Ochratoxin A, deoxynivalenol and fumonisins were found at low levels. ► Aflatoxins were never detected. ► Ochratoxin A level was significantly lower in beer samples from southern Europe. ► Fumonisin level was significantly higher in Italian beer samples.
