Abstract
⺠Mycotoxin level in beer samples produced in several European countries was surveyed. ⺠Ochratoxin A, deoxynivalenol and fumonisins were found at low levels. ⺠Aflatoxins were never detected. ⺠Ochratoxin A level was significantly lower in beer samples from southern Europe. âºÂ Fumonisin level was significantly higher in Italian beer samples.
