Abstract
⺠Microbiological evaluation of MPV by traditional and rapid methods. ⺠Indicator microorganisms, staphylococci, Salmonella and L. monocytogenes analyzed. ⺠Reveal Salmonella led to high positivity rates than Vidas, 1,2 Test, traditional. ⺠Vidas, Vip, Reveal, and traditional method performed equally for L. monocytogenes. ⺠The microbiological quality of MPV commercialized in Campinas was satisfactory.
