Abstract
⺠In this work a benzoate selective solid-state sensor has been prepared (PPy-Bz). ⺠The active layer is film of conducting polypyrrole doped with benzoate anion. ⺠PPy-Bz film electropolymerized on a platinum rod instead of the conventional design. ⺠We described a rapid and accurate method for the determination of Bzâ in soft drinks. ⺠PPy-Bz sensor is selective and can be used in portable equipments for BZ analysis.
