Abstract
⺠DNA extraction methods were assessed for single seeds of canola, flax and soybean. ⺠Significant differences were observed in DNA yield among three extraction methods. ⺠There was either weak or no correlation between seed weight and DNA yield data. ⺠PCR suitable DNA was successfully extracted from single seeds. ⺠OXY235 canola, FP967 flax and DP305423 soybean biotech events were detected with PCR.
