Abstract
⺠We studied nine varieties of popularly consumed herbs from Brazilian amazon. ⺠B. ungulata showed high content of total phenolic compounds and antioxidant capacity. ⺠The HPLC/DAD method was successfully applied for methanol extracts of herbs.
