Abstract
⺠Different sized seeds from tree-ripened ackees were analyzed for hypoglycin B. ⺠Ackee arilli categorized by seed size were analyzed for hypoglycin A. ⺠Very small seeds had significantly less hypoglycin B than regular-to-medium seeds. ⺠Arilli associated with regular-to-medium sized seeds had lower hypoglycin A levels. ⺠Residual concentration of toxin in ackee is dependent on associated seed size.
