Abstract
► R. officinalis essential oil (ROEO) and 1,8-cineole (CIN) inhibited P. aeruginosa. ► Exposure of P. aeruginosa to sublethal amounts of ROEO or CIN induced no protection. ► Cells grown in increasing amounts of ROEO or CIN presented no changes in tolerance.
