Abstract
⺠Cereal product contains 77% of pores with mean size 270 μm and wall thickness 47 μm. ⺠Fragmentation leads to heterogeneous fragment size distribution under compression. ⺠FE computation predicts Young's modulus between 46 and 139 MPa. ⺠For critical stress 3.39-3.47 MPa, damage model matches fragment size distribution. ⺠Conversion of low stress region to fragments is requested to build size distribution.
