Abstract
⺠Flaxseed oil was obtained conventionally and by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). ⺠SFE showed lower oil yield as compared to the conventional solvent extraction. ⺠SFE oil showed significantly lower peroxide value and saturated fatty acids. ⺠SFE oil showed higher iodine value and polyunsaturated fatty acids. ⺠SFE oil showed significantly higher phenolic acids' content.
