Abstract
► Polysaccharides were isolated from the fibrous pulp of (Mangifera pajang Kort.). ► One neutral and 3 acidic polysaccharides were separated with DEAE-Cellulose. ► Fibrous pulp of M. pajang fruit consisted of heteropolysaccharides. ► M. pajang fibrous polysaccharides belonged to β-type of the pyran group. ► These polysaccharides should be considered as a prospective antioxidant.
