Abstract
⺠Polysaccharides were isolated from the fibrous pulp of (Mangifera pajang Kort.). ⺠One neutral and 3 acidic polysaccharides were separated with DEAE-Cellulose. ⺠Fibrous pulp of M. pajang fruit consisted of heteropolysaccharides. ⺠M. pajang fibrous polysaccharides belonged to β-type of the pyran group. ⺠These polysaccharides should be considered as a prospective antioxidant.
