Abstract
⺠Child obesity is especially prevalent among low socioeconomic status families. ⺠Difficulties are often experienced when engaging low SES individuals in research. ⺠The sensitisation method can generate rich nutrition-related data from this group. ⺠The method combines memory work, introspections, observation, and interviews. ⺠Examples are provided of the nature and quality of the data generated.
