Interventions to enhance the Quality of Life of older people in residential long-term care: A systematic review

► Interventions on improving the QoL of long-term care (LTC)-residents are limited. ► The included studies mostly concerned healthy lifestyle- and psychological programs. ► The methodology of the included intervention studies was poor in quality. ► No systematic effect on QoL was found. ► QoL is a multidimensional concept, however most of the interventions did not consider this.
