Effects of deep brain stimulation of the peduncolopontine area on working memory tasks in patients with Parkinson's disease

The present findings, although preliminary, suggest that PPN area stimulation facilitates the speed processing of information in the content of WM, possibly through the modulation of the attentional resources.
