A single-day paradigm of self-regulated human cocaine administration

► We examine whether a full cocaine dosing range can be studied in humans in one day. ► Procedures were well tolerated with no significant adverse events noted. ► Significant dose-dependent changes in measures of self-administration were found. ► Changes in cardiovascular and subjective outcomes were less robustly detected. ► The data support the safety, tolerability and validity of our single-day design.
