RETRACTED: Expression of matrix metalloproteinase-26 (MMP-26) mRNA in mouse uterus during the estrous cycle and early pregnancy

Specifically the results regarding the specificity of the MMP-26 hybridization signal.The authors wrote: “Mouse MMP-26 gene has not been found in Gene Bank and the full length of MMP-26 cDNA has not been cloned so far, we cannot exclude the possibility that the hybridization signals in the mouse uteri were probably non-specific, and this will be investigated in our future studies”.
