Aberrant expression of collapsin response mediator proteins-1, -2 and -5 in the brain of intrauterine growth restricted rats

► We used an established nutritional model of intrauterine growth restriction in rats. ► We harvested brain tissues from IUGR and control newborn pups. ► Using proteomics technology, differentially expressed proteins were identified. ► Collapsin response mediator proteins-1, -2 and -5 were down-regulated in IUGR group. ► We report that IUGR state affects the proteome of the brain in newborn rats.
