Échographie versus arthroscanner dans le bilan des ruptures de la coiffe des rotateurs

The diagnosis of rotator cuff tears has improved considerably in recent years, thanks to advances in imaging techniques that remain successful in establishing an accurate assessment of the lesions. The interest of our study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of imaging for rotator cuff injuries. In our study, we compared ultrasound and computed tomography arthrography results with findings at surgery. We found very good performance for both techniques. We studied the various limitations of these two techniques, and have demonstrated the role of each technique for the detection of different types of lesions.
