Efectividad de las intervenciones dirigidas a reducir las sujeciones físicas en personas mayores de 65 años institucionalizadas: una revisión sistemática

Ten papers fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The findings show conflicting results on the effectiveness of training sessions. Furthermore, they lack sufficient empirical evidence to be able to assert that training sessions brought about a reduction in the use of physical restraints. More studies are needed that analyse the effectiveness of these interventions to prevent or eliminate the use of physical restraints in these institutions.
