Geographical cluster and performance: The case of Iberian ham

► This paper exploits a database created since 2007, which made possible to identify Iberian ham producers. ► It analyzes cluster consequences on firms' performance confirming a positive effect on firms' performance. ► Finally, this paper includes an alternative model that analyzes the role that larger firms have on the performance of smaller ones.
