Predominance of IL-10 and TGF-β production from the mouse macrophage cell line, RAW264.7, in response to crude antigens from Clonorchis sinensis

► We investigate regulation of cytokine production in response to liver fluke. ► We treat crude antigen from Liver fluke, Clonorchis sinensis, to mouse macrophage cells. ► Production of anti-inflammatory cytokines are increased. ► Upregulation of IL-10 and TGF-β occur via the regulation of ERK.
