A rapid and reliable method for the quantitation of hydroxychloroquine in serum using turbulent flow liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

► We developed a novel method for quantitation of hydroxychloroquine in serum. ► Samples are cleaned up via protein precipitation followed by turbulent flow liquid chromatography. ► Analytes are separated by HPLC and detected by tandem mass spectrometry. ► Validation showed excellent sensitivity, precision, accuracy, and linearity. ► Sample processing is simple and the method has a short run time and minimal carryover.
