In schizophrenia serum level of neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) is increased only if depressive symptoms are present

We found that in schizophrenia serum level of neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) is increased only if depressive symptoms are present. There was no difference in NT-3 level between schizophrenia patients and controls.
