Transfinite surface interpolation over irregular n-sided domains

► We present three approaches that generalize Coons' patches for n-sided domains. ► Non-regular domain polygons are introduced based on three-dimensional curve networks. ► New distance-based blending functions are proposed to interpolate positional and tangential data. ► We investigate local schemes for optimized surface parameterization.
