► We introduce the Distribution Condition, satisfied by several realistic models. ► We design, analyze, implement, practical self-adapting point location algorithms. ► We show that the Delaunay hierarchy can be used in a distribution-sensitive way. ► We present the Keep, Jump, & Climb algorithm, which is good in practice and theory.
