Floating tangents for approximating spatial curves with G1 piecewise helices

► We propose a novel algorithm to fit G1 piecewise helices to spatial curves. ► Our method is based on points relaxation and tangents interpolation. ► We show that our method is fast, precise and scalable to complex input datasets.
