Preparation and characterization of uniform particles of flufenamic acid and its calcium and barium salts

► We describe the precipitation of flufenamic acid, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. ► We prepared flufenamic acid as uniform particles of different morphologies, using two different methods. ► Additionally, calcium and barium salts of flufenamic acid consisting of uniform spherical particles were obtained.
