► Skin cream reduces the surface roughness and increases the hydrophilic properties of skin. ► The cream film unevenly distributes on skin surface. ► The higher viscosity results in higher friction and longer durability. ► Cream treated skin reduces the charge build up on skin surface. Relative humidity facilitates charge dissipation. ► Synthetic skin provides a good simulation for the skin and can be used in nanotribology research.
