Influence of ammonium sulphate feeding time on fed-batch Arthrospira (Spirulina) platensis cultivation and biomass composition with and without pH control

▸ A (NH4)2SO4 and NaNO3 mixture was used as nitrogen source for A. platensis culture. ▸ It proved a good alternative because of low cost and effective stimulation of growth. ▸ Ammonium feeding time of 13 days and pH control were the best conditions for growth.
